Hi, I'm Meredith!

Friendship is my top value. I believe career growth and fulfillment are deeply shaped by who you know, who supports you, and who you can be honest with along the way.

Some of the most meaningful relationships in my adult life, the ones that shaped my confidence, my career, and how I show up in the world, developed at work. These friendships have had tremendous impact on me, but they were not transactional. They were born from proximity, nurtured through shared experiences, joking around at our desks, and endless coffee breaks & happy hours spent analyzing office politics.

When I decided to go into business for myself, remote work gave me freedom, but it also removed the everyday human connection I had come to rely on. I knew I could not be the only one feeling that way.

So, I did what felt natural to me. I started bringing people together.

During the pandemic, I sought out other freelancers on Linkedin and Facebook groups and set up calls with them. Based on their willingness to connect and confide in me, it quickly became clear that isolation was a common side effect of being a solopreneur. Work Friends became our solution: a way to click with peers who may not work at the same company, but are tackling similar challenges. Over the years, I've built a network of close friends, collaborators, and clients across the country that's more robust than I ever could have imagined. â€‹â€‹As Work Friends has evolved from a passion into a business, my role is not to build a platform or scale a network. My role is to notice people, listen to them, and guide them towards inspiration, hope, and insight.

Every person in Work Friends is here for a reason. Every gathering is designed intentionally. Every connection is treated as something that matters.

This is not about building something for everyone. It is about building something meaningful, one relationship at a time.

To each of my work friends who have shaped my journey to this moment so far, thank you for being here. And to my future work friends, I can’t wait to meet you.
