Where peers find their people
Work Friends exists to make space for something that has quietly disappeared from modern work. Close, supportive professional relationships built over time, in person, with people who actually understand what you do and where you are going.
This is not a club.
It is not a community.

It is a service created for people who value depth over volume and relationships over reach. People who want their work lives to feel more human, more connected, and more sustainable.
Why we exist
Professional connection has become noisy, performative, and overly optimized. Many spaces promise access but deliver very little substance.
Work Friends exists as an alternative.
We believe the right relationships shape how work feels and where it leads. That belief shows up in how we curate rooms, how we make introductions, and how we set expectations for participation.
Everything is designed to respect your time, your energy, and the people you meet.
What we protect

Humanity over scale
Everyone knows someone, there's no anonymity, shit-stirring, or hiding behind a screen.

Care over convenience
We choose what works best for the relationship, not what is fastest or easiest to execute.

Presence over performance
We value showing up honestly and engaged. The experience only works when people are truly there.
How we do this
1 / Invites are sent by humans, not automated
2 / Hosted gatherings are themed for relevance, usually small, and location-based
3 / Expectations are clear and mutual
Who this is for
Work Friends is for people who...
Want real professional friendships, not surface-level connections
Value transparency, accountability, and mutual respect
Are open to showing up in person and over time
Care about how connection feels, not just what it produces
