How do I get involved?

Work Friends gatherings begin with an invite.

 

We ask for a bit of context so we can understand who you are, where you’re at in your career, and what kinds of connections would be most meaningful for you. This helps us shape introductions and ensure the gatherings we invite you to are aligned with your needs.

Every request is reviewed by a real person. If we’re not able to extend an invite right away, it’s because we won't reach out until we're sure we can provide a valuable experience.

Invitations may come through someone already connected to Work Friends or through participation in introductions and matching over time.

Does requesting an invite guarantee access?

Not always. Invitations are extended when there’s alignment between timing, location, theme and types of connections being created.

As new requests come through, we'll take the needs of those folks into consideration as we plan gatherings, so any insight provided is helpful.

Is this a private club? 

No, Work Friends is a service, not a social club or community platform. There are no "membership" requirements or costs.

Why are some gatherings sponsored?

Mission aligned partners support gatherings so we can focus on the experience itself. Sponsorship allows us to host gatherings without centering cost or access.

Is there an app?

Not yet! Currently the website supports what we need.
