Over the course of a career, one relationship has the power to impact an entire trajectory. Sometimes even just one conversation, one lunch, one introduction. There’s a reason the saying, “your network is your net worth,” is so popular amongst successful leaders.
Yet, most modern networking has evolved to prioritize quantity over quality. Metrics like “how many people can you get to attend?” and “how many eyeballs are going to see the recap posts?” are driving decision-making, rather than delivering value to people who are actually in the room.
Work Friends exists as a counter to that trend, helping professionals develop relationships rooted in mutual respect, transparency, and fun. We facilitate 1:1 relationships, organize themed IRL gatherings, and offer a platform where a tight-knit group of folks can find, support, and make plans with peers.

We operate as a service, with the mission of fostering meaningful connection. For some, that means joining an ongoing group for co-working. For others, it looks like setting up a 1:1 coffee date and becoming each other’s “phone a friend” when they need a gut check. In many cases, peers will meet at a gathering or through our platform, discover a shared passion, and begin working together.

Based on your current role, interests, and challenges, you’ll be invited to in-person experiences as they arise. In the meantime, you’ll have access to our online platform where folks in your city will share what they’re up to so you can tag along.

When you join our platform, you can invite up to 5 peers you know personally—your “work friends.” These can be current or former collaborators, coworkers, or clients.
